Home to Stockport Council and designed as an extension to the original Town Hall building, Stopford House was built 1975 and designed by JS Rank OBE, Director of Development & Town Planning, Stockport Council.
Stopford House also starred as the police station in TV Series "Life on Mars" (see photos below).
